@SketchPhanadic finally released the first volume of this EP. Something I've been anticipating for the longest time.
The best thing about helping with this project was noticing the creative decisions make an impact to the overall sound in real-time.
It's honestly the most authentic this man has sounded yet. It's beyond good music at this point. This is transcendent.
Well done, man. Truly.

Not everything is about racism. Besides Jay's relatability, it's barely a contest.
They both approach the term "Renegade" differently. For Hov, it’s making it out the hood on his own accord. For Em, it's using the platform he was given in rap to design his own legacy
Eminem's skillset on Renegade is unmatched. Lyricism at its highest form. No one looked at an Eminem feature the same after that.
I was actually thinking about this the other day. If you look at all the genres and trim it to the ones that have been continuous for over 50 years, the list is:
Classical
Blues
Jazz
Country
R&B
Rock n Roll
Reggae
Hip hop
EDM
Which means, chances a new genre being successful outside of this list is highly unlikely. A new genre will probably be a subgenre of one or two of these.
