A study was taken based on a research from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The statistics shows that for age of 85 and above the bathing activity has the highest percentage which is 25 %.

Some motivations that shows the important of having a smart shower system :

The News USA statistics shows that one third of seniors have 25% chance of dying within six months to a year if they fall or break a hip.

The fall death rates in U.S. increased by 30% from 2007 to 2016 for old adults. Also, each year at least 300,000 old people are hospitalized for hip fractures. In addition, if the rates continue to rise they anticipate that there will be 7 fall deaths every hour by 2030
