We may not always understand why certain things are happening, but we can trust that God has a purpose and a plan for everything, and He is constantly working in our life. Trusting God when you don’t understand why can be a difficult task. It requires a deep level of faith and surrender to God’s will when circumstances are overwhelming.
If you’re dwelling on the past, you won’t see the new thing. If you’re focused on who hurt you and what wasn’t fair, then you’ll miss your destiny. Forget the former things, quit dwelling on your mistakes. This is a new day.
God told Jeremiah, “Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, I knew you and approved. I’ve called you to speak to nations.” Before you were born, God not only chose you, but He put a calling on your life.
The power in you is greater than any power that’s coming against you. If you were on your own, it would be a problem, but you’re not alone. The Most High God is with you.
To reach your destiny, you’re going to have to put up with some things. You’re going to have to be the bigger person and overlook some insults, not defend yourself every time, not have to have the last word, straighten people out. You’re going to have to be the lamb and let God fight your battles.
God is saying to us today, “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and hold you with My victorious right hand.” Keep moving forward. Your greatest days are still in front of you.
Sometimes we don’t think we have anything to give. We’re convinced we need someone to bless us. But we all have something. You can give a smile, an encouraging word. You can take your elderly neighbor to dinner or call that friend who’s not feeling well.
In Psalm 43, David talks to himself and says, “Why, my soul, are you discouraged? Why so sad?” Then he declares, “I will put my hope in God. I will praise Him again—my Savior and my God.” God has wired us for power through hope, but we have to switch it on.
This is not the time to shrink back. In your DNA is the courage of Esther, the boldness of David, the faith of Abraham, the endurance of Sarah, the favor of Mary, the power of Elijah, the strength of Samson. That’s who you are: a history maker. Be strong. Be courageous. Go after what God put in your heart.
When you make a mistake, go to God and ask for forgiveness, then move on. Don’t keep asking Him again and again, bringing up the same failures. The first time you asked, God not only forgave you, but He doesn’t remember it anymore.
Ive been going back and watching videos of Charlie debating with students. This particular debate left me in awe. What an incredibly knowledgeable man.
Take a moment to witness and be inspired……
We send our heartfelt prayers to Charlie Kirk’s family, his wife Erika and his two children for their devasating loss. May God give them comfort and His peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that God will unify and heal our nation as well. John 16:33 Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Don’t go through life beating yourself up, thinking about everything you’ve done wrong, dwelling on your mistakes and failures. The moment you asked God to forgive you, He forgave you.
Don’t fear people; fear God. If people don’t approve of you, that’s not going to stop your purpose. What will stop you is if you let their opinion become more important than what God has put in your heart.
God’s not holding the past against you. He’s not upset because you ignored Him; He’s not turned off because you didn’t believe. His love is unconditional. He’s waiting for you. His arms are opened wide.
