@We_Global Maybe not more competitive in this year's world cup but the goal should be to for these federations to be better moving forward. More exposure, more prize money, funding, etc should lead to that. You have to start somewhere

@JoshuaHowsam Funding needs to be drastically improved obviously but it doesn't help that a lot of the sports we are currently strong in are so high variance (free style skiing and short track speed skating for example)

@JoshuaHowsam It's not perfect either but NFL replay doesn't work like that anymore. They have figured out the right way to do it (automatic replay catches a lot of mistakes, usually very quick calls)

@coopincanada I think the answer probably depends on if the Jays win the series or not. Obviously recency bias is a big part of the answer, but maybe top 10. Can't be top 5 though (Alomar, Sprague, Carter, Bautista, EE off the top of my head)

@AlasdairGold If the subs were 5s and 6's, the starters were all 3's and 4's. The midfield trio was terrible in both attack and defence

@AndrewStoeten Whatever year they traded for Esteban Loiaza (2000 I think?) they had the division lead for a bit in the summer before they trailed off in mid July. They were a fun team with Cruz and Shannon Stewart and Delgado and Fletcher and Tony Batista all having good years
