i liked parts of it, think it's one of the funnier BP #oscar winners in recent history, and leo was great (sean penn was a caricature so him winning was??), but otherwise no.
2025 was a weak year for films so eh.

saw house of mcqueen again today (+ they finally opened the display, stunning gowns). show is much more tightly-paced, plot flows more coherently, big improvement from last week but still a few things can be fixed (ie sound mixing needs improvement) 🧵

also a scene where a guy tried to blow him in pt2 & is pushed away, also cut entirely
little lee's coloring at the start is cut down dramatically

got the chance to see house of mcqueen yesterday, still needs some fine-tuning but it’s previews so that’s ok.
fine performances all around led by a beautiful performance by the tall bald guy in the middle lmao i jest; luke newton was phenomenal, if you’re in/around nyc go see it
