Right now, Thailand and Cambodia are defaming one another - sometimes with truths, often with fabrications. But baseless hate speech helps no one. It only deepens division and drives us further from peace. And in the end, it’s the people on the front lines, the innocent civilians of both countries, who pay the price.
Both nations must hold their leaders accountable and reject violence, not excuse or justify it.
Negotiation is essential to resolve this conflict before more lives are lost. In a time like this, when fear, instability, rage, and raw emotion run high, it’s more important than ever to use สติ (mindfulness and discernment) in everything we consume and share. This goes far beyond headlines. Real lives are being lost.
My deepest condolences to those who have lost their lives, and to the families and communities shattered by this violence. No one should ever have to suffer like this. Let us not allow misinformation to add more fuel to the fire.

Cambodian soldiers didn’t die defending their people. They died serving selfish ambitions of a leader who values power over human dignity.
A soldier’s life should never be a pawn in a dictator’s game.
Sending them to die “not for country, but to preserve tyranny” is the ultimate betrayal. 😔

Shame on you, @washingtonpost. Will you fact-check before posting? This is the petrol station, annexed to the convenience store, where six Thai civilians were killed by Cambodian military BM-21 bombardment.
After 2 years of reporting fake news against Israel in Gaza, the BBC is now doing the same against Thailand
They used this picture of a Cambodian artillery strike on a Thai 7-eleven & gas station (where 8 civilians were killed) to falsely frame it as Thai airstrikes on Cambodia

We strongly condemn Cambodia's brutal attack on Thai hospitals and innocent civilians, which resulted in severe injuries and tragic loss of lives. Such inhumane actions are a grave violation of international humanitarian principles.
