Finally putting some of my music online. Heard about @AudiusProject during a @protocollabs lab day and thought I'd try them out!
Check out my new album, Georgia on #Audius https://t.co/F45sz31t59
Someone asked if I'm building agents that take people's jobs. "Empower not replace" breaks down when you look at who actually gets empowered. Automating work for the CFO buys them time. Automating for the average contractor makes them obsolete...
There's a new "best" AI like every week now. Switching over to the "best" one every week isn't sustainable. The trick is knowing that each model is "best" at different things. I personally use Claude Code for Dev, Gemini for web/media, and ChatGPT when I have a random question.
If you’re a founder, how did you get better at that? I feel like it’s one thing to be an expert at something and start a company doing that thing, but it’s another thing altogether to explain your expertise in a way that clicks.
I haven’t won a single client from a marketing attempt.
Every client came through people who already knew me, who understood what I do because they've seen it firsthand.
This tells me:
1. What I do is valuable
2. I don’t fully understand how to communicate that value
You don’t need to fight old systems... just build something so good that the old ways can’t breathe in the same room. Excellence is a silent wrecking ball.

The risk isn't that you'll be replaced -- it's that you'll lose the muscle for deciding what’s worth making. (FWIW: I created this. But yeah I used AI to make it pretty )
I get an AI-generated email. I hit Summarize. Draft with AI. Send. They get my AI-generated reply. They hit Summarize. Draft with AI. Send. Sooooo efficient 🤣
AI isn’t replacing creative people—but it IS expertly replacing people who forget why they create in the first place.
And I don't think it's just about art. For me, it's about systems and automations and EVEN EMAILS lol... all the nerdy stuff that I do all day. It's replacing thought with faster and faster ways to ship without ever asking if the thing is worth shipping.
Cancel your next meeting and go for a run instead. Or whatever it is you do. *Enter recovery mode* 🤣
The fastest way out of fog isn’t to stand there thinking harder. It’s to move until you can see clearly again.
Not drinking alcohol is a big trend right now.
That's because sobriety helps you:
- Sleep better
- Be more energetic
- Avoid hangovers
- Avoid DUIs
- And a lot more
If you haven't jumped on the trend, give it a try.
You won't regret it.
@DevMachette_ For real! I gave up alcohol, too, and it's making a huge difference. Joined a nike running plan, doing Whole 30... Trying to get a little better everyday ✊
