Congratulations Masuk Girls Golf on their 2nd place finish at the CIAC DII State Championship today. Masuk shot a team score of 366 with So. Adriana Lupo placing 8th overall, and Jrs. Alex Cecchino and Abby Yeager placing 11th and 14th respectively. Congratulations Panthers!!

Masuk defeated E.O. Smith, 11-0, to advance to the semis. Julia Bacoulis had 14 Ks and only allowed one hit in the ⭕️. Madison Aguirre drove in the first run in the bottom of the fifth. Grace Ely hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth. Alyssa Castillo had 3 hits, Ciena Perpetuo and Aubrey Zvovushe-Ramos had 2 hits, and Sofia and Josie Lieto each had a hit.

Masuk defeated RHAM, 17-0, in the 2nd round of the state tournament. Julia Bacoulis pitched a perfect game with 11Ks in 5 innings. Bacoulis had a homerun and a double. Josie Lieto had 2 hits and Sofia Lieto, Grace Ely, Madison Aguirre, Alyssa Castillo, and Aubrey Zvovushe-Ramos each had a hit. The Panthers will face E.O Smith in the quarterfinals on Friday @ 4 pm.
