EXCLUSIVE: Managed to take some interesting shots today :). U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling aircraft are still in Romania months after their deployment earlier this year.

Back in March, the United States deployed at least six KC-135 tankers to Romania as part of a wider military buildup linked to operations in the Middle East. Shortly after arriving, several of the aircraft reportedly carried out long-duration aerial refueling missions over the eastern Mediterranean.

Israel's N12 news channel is reporting that US aircraft in Israel would leave within 72hrs & redeploy to Europe in the event of a deal with Iran being reached.

Notably, one translation I've seen implies it would just be the tanker fleet at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG)

So this was a positioning flight, with a total of 4 tankers moving to Bangor ANGB (KBGR) ahead of the crossing to Europe. Still unclear what they'll bring with them, but the tankers were:

An RAF Rivet Joint as ASCOT 7227 departed RAF Waddington this morning and is headed East after refuelling with LAGER 51 of the 100th Air Refuelling Wing from RAF Mildenhall.

The RAF rely on Mildenhall-based USAF tankers as the Voyager fleet do not have booms.
