This morning, I spoke with Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al-Sabah, to express Europe’s full solidarity with Kuwait following the latest attacks by Iran and its proxies.

Diplomacy is the only way to achieve security and stability in the Middle East - the EU calls on all parties to remain engaged on the diplomatic track.

As we mark the 40th anniversary of our relations, I look forward to an even closer EU-Kuwait partnership in the future.

نعتمد اليوم مع شركائنا البريطانيين والكنديين والأستراليين والنيوزيلنديين والنرويجيين جزاءات إضافية إزاء المسؤولين عن تكثيف الاستيطان وأعمال العنف في الضفة الغربية. وحظرنا على الصعيد الوطني الوزير بيزاليل سموتريش وأربعة مسؤولين عن منظمات استيطان وواحد وعشرين مستوطنًا عنيفًا من دخول أراضينا. ويروّج بيزاليل سموتريش بصورةٍ فاعلة ويطالب علنًا بضم أراضي الضفة الغربية واستحداث مستوطنات إضافية في الضفة الغربية واستئناف الاستيطان في قطاع غزّة وقهقرة اقتصاد السلطة الفلسطينية وعواقبها الوخيمة على السكان الفلسطينيين. وترفض الأغلبية الساحقة من المجتمع الدولي التي تحرص بحزم على حل الدولتين هذه السياسة.
