When I was struggling with TIMING, I asked Dusty Baker what I needed to do to get on-time.

He told me 1 thing:

“When the pitcher shows his back pocket… you show your back pocket.”

That simple cue helped sync my load with the pitcher instead of rushing forward.

Next at-bat: line drive in the gap.

Stinks to not win-Good when don’t lose =the Huskies tied Pemberton in a rain shortened game 4-4. Huskies were up 5-4 but ⚡️ was seen & game reverts back to previous inning. Smith & Corbett pitched well 🎖️. Ryan Lasko had 2 🦇 & Mark Fanelli 2 🥩. Huskies now 9-12-1 @JSSInsider

Went to a HS game yesterday. Had a D1 coach come meet me there to watch a kid.

During the game, the team’s catcher would sprint to his position every inning.

He’s an underclassman, the D1 coach wasn’t there for him, he is now on that coaches radar.

Some things preached at every level -

▪️sprint to your spot between innings
▪️show off your arm in between innings
▪️serious throws in the INF/OF and as a catcher

You can be 0-3 and still make an impression
