Found a couple of old illustrations hiding in my archives! 👀💚
I probably won't be using them in any games anytime soon, but they're too good to leave collecting dust! 😋
So I decided to share them on Patreon! 🍵

I wasn't planning to get involved in this, but... here we go. 😂
$250 for a ONE-SECOND animation isn't necessarily overpriced.
As an indie game developer who regularly commissions artists, let me explain why. 💚
When you're making a game, you don't necessarily need 24 unique drawings per second.
You can reuse frames, create loops, use camera movements, and even add variations to the same artwork, like different facial expressions.
It's all about working smart!
At least, that's how I work with my artists!
We agree on the frames, the variations, and what needs to be animated.
Then I work with those assets in the game.
You don't always need hundreds of drawings to make something look good. 😋
But if you're commissioning a highly detailed animation, with lots of unique frames, just for personal enjoyment...
Well, you're asking for a luxury product.
And luxury comes with a price tag.
Artists also have bills to pay, and their rates depend on their experience, circumstances, and cost of living.
And here's another thing!
There are plenty of talented artists who are just starting out and offer affordable commissions.
As an indie developer, you have to work within your budget.
You can't expect Studio Ghibli-level animation on a shoestring budget. 😂
Find artists whose work you love AND whose prices you can afford.
So, here's my point:
If an artist's prices are too high for your budget, that's perfectly fine!
Just don't commission them. Find someone who fits your needs.
An artist being too expensive FOR YOU doesn't mean their work is overpriced.
Respect artists, respect their time, and respect their prices. 💚
I don't think you said anything wrong, and people can be really cruel.
It's true that it's pretty clear she's cosplaying an adult version of the character, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If you think it's weird, that's YOUR opinion and nobody else's, and it's not a problematic opinion either, at least in my view.
My rule of thumb is this: if someone gives you a reasoned argument, you can try to have a dialogue with them. If all they do is throw shit at you, they don't deserve your attention.
@Yui__Nakamori Entre Cualquier Monster que no sea el Nitro o Inca Kola, Inca Kola y por desgracia aquí en España escasea y es difícil de encontrar. Ahora, el Monster Nitro Super Dry es ambrosía.
