@TheStarLi They said I could have an official alias using his name. A lot less paperwork, just need to have something mailed to me using that name. Maybe Iβll do that haha
Itβs been a year since I married my Japanese husband, and still on the fence about whether or not I should take his name. My visa is good for two more years but my US passport needs to be renewed by January. Mostly Iβm just worried about the paperwork for everythingπ Any advice?

The majority of cons are about paperwork, and how to change things in the states (like my bank and student loan stuff) when I physically canβt go.
@Rendezvousasia Unfortunately they said we couldnβt choose a hyphenated name when I asked at city hall :( I just thought it might be a hassle to change my passport later on π

@TheLLLounge My friend and I were discussing that too haha. It wasnβt until we were drinking the lemonades we realized that it is indeed just cherry. Maybe slightly more... floral? If they use the leaves.
Shake Shack Japan has new Sakura drinks! I tried their Sakura lemonade and shake. Both were good. From next month they will have a cherry Sakura shake. The shake I had has a very faint Sakura (cherry) flavor mixed into the vanilla based. The lemonade reminded me of tart cherry.
