@macandcube There’s no debate. SEC is 2-7 in the playoffs. Hell, the putrid ACC had a winning record over the high and mighty SEC last year. Just because mouth breathers want something to be true doesn’t make it so.
They did @colecubelic dirty. Best analyst in the game at explaining what’s going on in the trenches.
Not only did they break up the most fun crew they had, they stuck Cole on the equivalent of the JP game.
Non-ball knowers.
Gorsuch is right: America was founded on religious pluralism, not as a Christian nation. Now he needs to rule like it.
His Kennedy opinion has become a cornerstone of the effort to inject religion into public schools and government.
The Constitution deserves better.
This is extremely well done by Dave. Hits on three items I feel strongly about as well - Strength of Record, 12-team field is the sweet spot and the G6 level has dropped quite a bit. I suggest giving it a read.
The Director of Content for University of Alabama Athletics’ NIL collective ‘Yea Alabama’ has been arrested, along with 15 others, as part of a human trafficking operation in north Shelby County, according to authorities.
Robert Aaron Suttles was listed as the director of content for UA’s Name, Image Likeness (NIL) Collective, Yea Alabama.
Weird, because that definitely used to be how the SEC measured who the best conference is. That is, until it stopped winning the National Championship.
I don't think the SEC helped itself this week.
In fact...
The SEC came across as a bunch of spoiled children, who for the first time in their lives, did not get what they wanted.
Looks like the annual Schefter retweet of Warren Sharp has made it to the timeline today. Here's the thing... Warren Sharp could have the best football preview known to mankind and it would not matter, because he still operates under a pseudonym and promotes betting records I do not believe are real. My own tracking did not align with his over a long stretch, and some picks were tied to lines that had moved well before the plays ever went public. When we were publicly tracking him on betstamp years ago, a representative reached out on his behalf threatening litigation if we continued, as they claimed that his model could be reverse engineered. Worth noting we were not showing his picks before games. We only revealed them after the games had already gone live. Also worth noting that if he didn't want anyone to reverse engineer his model, he could simply not sell plays. Do not support him. Every big account retweeting his stuff, paid or not, should know better.
"I think they're gonna go 8-4."
@PickSixPreviews tells @1TimMurray why he's not optimistic about Alabama beating their projected win total of 8.5

Reminder: If voting requires you to spend $165 on a passport, that’s a poll tax. We made those unconstitutional in 1964. The SAVE Act is voter suppression.

Elias's comparison is the one worth sitting with. When Bill Clinton briefly boarded Loretta Lynch's plane on a Phoenix tarmac in 2016 and they talked about grandchildren and golf - no documented request, no documented outcome, a conversation - the media treated it as a scandal that required weeks of coverage. Trump stood at a podium in Pennsylvania, described personally calling a federal prosecutor to investigate an election while his preferred candidate was losing, and the Pennsylvania federal prosecutor was sitting in the audience being publicly thanked. Elias: none of the reporters present found this worthy of a question.
The normalization that allows that to happen is not benign. When the president describes using the federal prosecution apparatus to intervene in a state election and it registers as a moment of rally color rather than a constitutional question, the mechanism that would otherwise produce accountability has been eroded. That erosion is itself the story underneath the story.
