The prompt was vampire, so I imagined a character that has long ears like bats, and sucks the player with its big mouth to suck their hp points out.

I don't know a lot about these characters, just that they seem to scream a lot and look kinda like ghosts. I thought this little fella could just wander around the screen, screaming and slowing the player and their bullets
