Codex voice mode is completely broken. What’s going on? I said “hello, testing” in Brazilian Portuguese, but it transcribed it as “hello friends” in english. Please @thsottiaux, fix the voice mode in the Codex app
In the name of Jesus, my family and I are still going to become American citizens and live God’s purpose for our lives as a blessing in the United States!
Look guys if you’re building something on a cloud platform and you don’t want to get owned through a platform compromise at some point you have like 4 real options
AWS
Azure
Cloudflare
GCP
You should not trust key infra to a neocloud
Neoclouds may get you faster performance on something like S3 but they just can’t match the availability, durability, and security of a “real” cloud
They don’t and can’t design for as many nines

#VCTChampions#VCTAMERICAS
the coding agent haters are getting dunning-kruger'd so hard right now
do you really think that your engineering ability is better than the models at this point?
it is very very likely that fable is better than you in every branch of software
it has been trained on all the code of the internet, it knows almost every trick in the book, all the design patterns of every domain, every single low-level detail, every bit-twiddling hack, it's read every single blog post from every cracked engineer that ever existed
do you really think you can beat it? do you really think you can be more creative than it?
unless you are 99th percentile expert in some niche domain of software, it simply is not possible. sorry.
i'm happy i learned vim even if i never open it again (i currently do still sometimes, but that's beside the point). i'm happy i learned many things, even if i don't currently use them. i'm happy i have had the chance to learn.
i'm excited to keep learning too
@alexandr_wang Does Muse offer a unified subscription with Instagram? Similar to how I have Premium and Cursor/Grok in one subscription, is there a plan that combines Instagram Premium and Muse? @alexandr_wang
I actually have the opposite impression. Agents tend to thrive with a well-layered architecture that establishes clear boundaries per feature and functionality. This approach even simplifies debugging and makes it more reliable (by agents)
it's very interesting how many replies i've gotten about maintainability and clean code being still important. i would argue that that is no longer true and we all need to update our priors on what Good Code really means in 2026.
clean code has always come at a cost - performance. indirection and making code readable/understandable for a human is not free, it often comes at the cost of worse performance. we have historically been okay with this because of Moore's Law and the fact that most code is not on the hot path.
these principles also came from a time where humans maintained code. it made sense to optimize for humans then, but it makes less sense now when agents are already writing all the code. we will in fact probably discover and come up with new principles: principles of agent friendly architecture (i plan to write more thoughts about this soon)
This is one of the worst parts of X, and maybe of all current social media. There’s a lot of stupid advice from people who can’t even notice the nuances that made someone fail or succeed, it’s just one terrible generalization after another.
We need a new platform where we choose who can give us opinions, without the algorithm selecting the most random bullshit to promote
it blows my mind how many people get on here and start giving advice
i can barely figure out what we should be doing and how and every week things change
and anything i do find conviction on is rarely generalizable
but you all got advice for me
Turns out they’re shutting Deno down, with only one more year of support.
I admired the project, but there’s no real reason for it to keep existing. Rust is the better choice in the AI-agent era.
