@AvantiWestCoast just seen the 16.07 Eus to LTV is cancelled. I’m due to get the 17.07… is that likely to run? What’s the reason for the 16.07 being cancelled?
@AvantiWestCoast You can’t write this stuff… 17.07 on time, train arrives on the platform, ready to go and then points failure, and instantaneous 30min delay added. It’s just so shambolic. It’s literally cheaper and more reliable to drive everywhere rather than use trains.
@WestMidRailway hello, I’m due to travel on an advanced single 15.46 EUS-LTV today, due to hot weather would we be able to travel on the 14.46? I presume allowing this would help ease pressure on later services..
@LNRailway@WestMidRailway what’s going on with your Crewe-Eus trains? The last 5 I’ve been on have had none or 1 toilet working, and the last two peak trains have only had 5 carriages… makes the journeys uncomfortable..
@chriscollins462@LNRailway My point was that the cost of the failure of maintenance or repair will run into hundreds of thousands for people overall, the true cost to the economy is totally missed. We are only given back the value of a train ticket..
@LNRailway@AvantiWestCoast@networkrail it’s all very well having delay repay, but who pays for extending car parking, hotels overnight, food, childcare costs, missed flights, meeting cancellations when you cause enormous delays and failure to run trains?
@AvantiWestCoast I was unable to get home last night Eus-LTV, I understand I can use my ticket today, however all Avanti trains are still cancelled, I assume I can travel on LNR&WMT trains this morning?
@AvantiWestCoast I don’t understand, the Liverpool trains are being cancelled, so does that not mean we can use Avanti trains to go via Birmingham to lichfield? Why is there no acceptance when you’re not able to run the trains?
@LNRailway This doesn’t make sense.. loads of us waiting at LTV with no knowledge of how to get to Euston when trains keep being cancelled here… is the 16.49 going to stop? When will there be a bus from LTV to get us to London?
