Spending great days with the 🇫🇷 glyco community @GFRGlyco. Honored to receive and share the Verbert-Fournet Award 2026 with my chem alter ego (and also roommate 😄), Ahmed El Rhaz. Congrats to @RebekkaWild for the GFG 2026 Award, and to everyone for the quality of discussions.
Day 2 of #CGS2026 was packed with 21 presenters and an engaging poster session, showcasing the incredible breadth of research happening in #glycomics and #glycoscience. The evening banquet was also a great opportunity to connect and continue conversations. #glycotime
Yesterday we kicked off #CGS2026! It's fantastic to see such strong engagement from the #glycomics community with over 190 attendees gathered from across Canada and internationally.

An amazing week at University of Alberta 🇨🇦with plenty of #glycotime! A big thanks to Lara Mahal, @gia_glyco and to GlycoNet for the kind invitation!! Also great to see inspiring glyco-researchers that marked a generation @jcpJim
Great two glyco-days at #GIA2025 🍬
Honored to introduce Prof. Jim Paulson ⭐
Exciting glyco talks, amazing chats ☕, and valuable feedback for the next steps in my project 💡 #glycotime
Kicking off GIA2025 with an infectious talk from Dr. Jim Paulson! 😷 We can't wait for the rest of the talks to come. Share your conference experience using #GIA2025
Our next Keynote Speaker is Dr. Simon Wisnovsky from UBC who will be talking on mapping the genomic landscape of cancer glycome remodeling with genome-wide CRISPR. His work is consistently recognized with many awards and we are very excited to have him at GIA2025. @Wisnovsky_Lab
Our next Keynote Speaker of GIA2025 is Dr. @Salome_S_Pinho . She is coming from the University of Porto, Portugal to talk about glycans as master regulators of immune response in inflammation, autoimmunity and cancer: from disease prediction to therapeutic opportunities.
Our final Keynote Speaker this year will be Dr. Alisdair Boraston from the University of Victoria, BC. Dr. Boraston will be speaking on advances in understanding O-glycopeptidases from host-adapted bacteria. Catch his talk and all our Keynote Speakers at GIA2025 November 6 and 7!
