It's almost like I was right.

Me: If Infinity Nikki doesn't stop retconning, increasing Gacha rates, and destroying their game, players will eventually grow tired and just leave. There's only so long they can be treated like trash.
Reality: Revenue declined to the lowest point it has ever been at, and people continue to boycott and quit to this day over broken promises.

Me: If Persona 5 The Phantom X doesn't give players the better China experience, then the game will break under the pressure from their Global audience.
Reality: Spent months screwing Global players, revenue dropped substantially, then they decided to make the correct changes, too late.

Me: If Black Beacon doesn't fix their localization issues, constant bugs, and quality, players will likely stop playing and revenue will decline.
Reality: Revenue declined, game getting close to EoS.

Me: If Girls' Frontline 2 really goes through with their Gacha skins and prioritize predatory monetization over current player satisfaction, they'll lose their players.
Reality: Lowest revenue since releasing Globally, even after a DOUBLE Battle Pass and 3-limited banner release.

Me: If Tower of Fantasy doesn't get their act together (dupes/exploits/hacks/story disconnect and so much more,) nobody is going to play it.
Reality: Barely ever makes it into the top 100 Gacha each month for revenue.

Now I have some choice words for a few other Gacha games, but... it's almost like releasing your game with predatory business models can damage any growth or success you might've had. Almost like rewarding Global players equally with other regions (CN) reinforces your Global audience that you care.

It's almost like I was right.
