It's #ElectionDay in #Ontario today. Please (please.) read about each party and candidate: their successes, failures, and controversies. How often are they mired in scandal? Do they lie? A lot? Behind the talking points and promises, who are they looking out for? Do they deliver?
"The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs, and explosions, and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men." —Rod Serling
"The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them." —Turkish proverb

"One does not ask of one who suffers: What is your country and what is your religion? One merely says: You suffer, that is enough for me." —Louis Pasteur
"We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of our thoughts." —George Matthew Adams
Why didn't anyone tell me that there's a tradition called "Stew Year" where you ring in the new year with delicious stew (and of course continue to celebrate into the new year because leftover stew is arguably better)? Kicking myself!
@TheCinesthetic This has already been mentioned, but I'm posting it again because Boromir's arc wrecks me every time. "They've taken the little ones!"💀
