A bus went head-on into oncoming traffic to save a few seconds. Was it worth the risk? 😳
Dashcam footage from Kerala shows a KSRTC bus fleet No. BS6 KS 412 pulling into the opposite lane to overtake a queue of vehicles → directly into the path of an oncoming car.
The car driver was forced to brake hard as the bus occupied the wrong lane for nearly 10 seconds, passing within inches, on an undivided road with no escape route, shops, and pedestrians nearby.
No collision, no injuries → this time. Overtaking into oncoming traffic is rash driving under Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, regardless of vehicle type.

The biggest thing that made computers attractive to me was how expected the behaviour was. It has been lost so much. I can sort of still build that with ai but its going away.
Deterministic code vs Agents. I think its a matter of time before people let go of determinism in favour of agents as soon as the cost structures make sense.
It will be a sad day because Assembly or compliers never took that away from us.
X needs to remove "South Asia" as a location. What is South Asia? Just give country names clearly mentioned, or else the feature is useless. @singhai@elonmusk
