Are you planning on voting tomorrow?
If so, make sure you know how and where to vote, and please wear a face covering in the Polling Station

Do you teach students aged 11-18? We still need your help to inform our work in education policy. As part of our #MathematicalFutures programme we're running a survey to assess use of mathematics across the Secondary Curriculum - take the survey now: https://t.co/DPNvMemgfu
One fairly widely spread idea of behaviour management: Positive language, reinforcing good behaviour rather than focusing on poor behaviour. What are people’s thoughts?

@KristianStill If you’re independent secondary, your views are just as useful for my research (part of my research proposal is trying to identify how attitudes and methodology differ depending on setting)
Thank you for everyone who has completed the survey so far. There have been some very interesting trends.
Takes about 10 minutes to complete and I am very grateful for anyone willing to take the time to complete it and share it amongst their colleagues.
Keep them coming!

Great blog from @teacherhead here! Putting checking for understanding at the centre of your questioning creates a range of options so that all students are thinking about and developing their learning! I’m reminded of our bulletin about this strategy from earlier in the year! 🤓
Something I have found fascinating, since we are finally teaching students without masks, is how much younger all my students seem without their masks. Some of these students I have seen this week for the very first time without a mask.
