@TrevorMuir I won’t be ready for Monday. But maybe that’s okay for my sanity and I can do what I need to for Monday on Monday morning before school starts.
As a principal, I’m supposed to be an “instructional leader.” But I told our teachers this week, that I don’t know how to do that in the middle of a pandemic.
Right now is not the best time to talk about programs, plans, data points, and “best practices.” It is time to support.
@E_Sheninger@jchirles I worked 8:30am-11:30pm today & I’m planned through Tues. Everything is just so different and I’m not used to it all yet. I’m good with tech but it’s panning for three hybrid classes and I also teach two full-time virtual classes. I’m giving myself permission to take tomorrow off
@E_Sheninger@jchirles We are given one day to plan, grade, etc but 8:45-11:35 we are to be on Google Meet so kids can access us in the morning and then in the afternoon we have student meetings sprinkled throughout. It’s interrupted and that makes everything more difficult.
@pernilleripp I did that this week and then they did 2 Truths/1 Lie. I moderated them and then opened them up for the class to view. Then on Thursday I asked them to go watch at least 3 of their classmates and respond with what they thought the lie was.
@LindseyMyles @TeachWrightSC I’m thankful to have some experience w/ all of the above! Along w/ 3 in person classes (alg 1 inclusion, alg 1, and precalc honors), I have two virtual classes; 1 inclusion algebra 1 CP and 1 precalc with 1/3 honors and 2/3 CP. 🤯 I’m going to be looking to your tweets for help!
