Switzerland were absolutely dominating Argentina and had just taken a well-deserved lead.
Then VAR stepped in , the referee called the Swiss striker for simulation and showed him a straight red card.

This time it picked 5 officials from a country still trying to win the whole thing.

Referee, both assistants, fourth official, reserve. It's the first match at this World Cup run start to finish by a single nation.

The optics are rough.

VAR is meant to serve the interest of "big" teams. How would you expect Cape Verde to beat the world champions and get away with it? Never ever. VAR is not consistent. The game is not fair.
