The world is experiencing an unprecedented shortage of skilled professionals. Countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia are actively recruiting doctors, nurses, engineers, chefs, teachers, ICT specialists, pilots, construction workers and caregivers to sustain their economies. Ageing populations, declining birth rates and expanding industries have made labour mobility a global necessity. Labour migration is therefore not a crisis but a vital economic reality that benefits both receiving and sending countries through skills transfer, employment opportunities and remittances. The future belongs to nations that invest in developing skilled human capital for the global labour market.

My son, a salary is a seed you harvest from another man’s farm.
It is foolish to eat all of it today, because tomorrow hunger will force you to walk back to his gate and beg for more.
Take a portion of that seed and plant it in your own soil.
Build your own harvest, so you never have to depend on another man to survive.
Be blessed.
My son, never pour your wealth just to buy the respect of strangers.
The people who happily drink your expensive beer today will suddenly stop picking up your phone calls the day a financial storm hits your house.
Put your money to work instead. A working shilling will never sing your praises in public, but it will silently defend your dignity when the crowds disappear.
Be blessed.
Treat people well with utmost dignity and compassion. No one is tall enough to see tomorrow.

Dear God,
Thank You for the gift of this new day, for Your unfailing love, Your mercy, and the breath of life You have given us.
As we step into today, we place everything into Your hands. Guide our steps, protect us from harm, and surround us with Your favor wherever we go. Grant us wisdom in our work, grace in our words, and strength to remain focused on what matters most.
Lord, bless our efforts, open doors of opportunity, and let Your peace fill our hearts. Silence every voice raised against us and let every plan that is not of You come to nothing.
We declare in faith that this is a good day You have made. Good news is coming, doors are opening, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We walk confidently because You are with us always.
In Jesus name, we pray
Dear God,
Thank You for the gift of life and for the grace that carried us through the night.
Lord, as we begin this day, go before us. Guide our thoughts, direct our steps, and align our hearts with Your will. Fill us with Your wisdom, peace, and strength. When we are uncertain, guide us. When we are weary, renew us.
Protect us and our loved ones. Make every crooked path straight and open the doors that are according to Your purpose for our lives. Give us discernment to follow Your leading and faith to trust You in all things.
May we be a reflection of Your love and a blessing to everyone we meet. Let Your favor surround us and Your presence go with us throughout the day.
We declare that this is a blessed day. We walk in faith, guided by Your wisdom, covered by Your grace, and confident in Your promises.
In Jesus’ name, we pray
Hon Janet Kataha Museveni once again requested to be vetted on zoom but committee members objected. Speaker Oboth-Oboth tried twice to persuade members but failed. We are waiting to see what happens today; whether they are once again willing to bend the rules to accommodate Museveni family rule. For the entire five years, 2021-26, Kataha never stepped in parliament!
