The United Nations has once again descended into moral bankruptcy by placing Israel on this blacklist alongside Hamas, the very terrorists who systematically raped, mutilated, and sexually tortured Israeli women, men, and children on October 7, and thereafter against the hostages in Gaza.
This is not merely a mistake; it is an obscene inversion of victim and perpetrator, another modern blood libel that echoes the UN's rush to fabricate the lie that Israel bombed the Al-Ahli hospital, the lie about famine in Gaza, and the lie that 14,000 children were going to die in 48 hours.
Israel provided the UN with extensive documentation disproving this latest blood libel, yet Secretary-General Guterres chose to reward terrorism. This decision strips the UN of any remaining credibility and reveals the extent to which it has been captured by those who hate Israel more than they hate rape as a weapon of war.
The world should treat this blacklist with the contempt it deserves. Democracies must stop subsidizing this institutionalized antisemitism. History will record this as another shameful chapter in the UN's long war against the Jewish state.
Just when you think the UN has reached peak moral bankruptcy, it finds a way to sink even lower.
Now it is pushing one of the most disgusting blood libels imaginable - accusing Israeli entities of sexual violence.
This is beyond obscene.
It is a complete inversion of what Israeli civilians actually endured at the hands of the barbaric terrorists Israel is fighting.
And Israeli entities and news channels that amplified these complete false accusations handed the antisemitic machinery of the UN exactly what it wanted: more ammunition for another disgusting lie against Israel.
History will remember not only those who committed the crimes - but also those who helped whitewash them.
I learned exclusively last night that the UN has added Israeli entities to a blacklist of countries that commit sexual violence in conflict zones- a list which includes Hamas and ISIS.
It would also be remiss to ignore that this comes just over two weeks after the New York Times published a highly controversial op-ed by journalist Nicholas Kristof about the alleged "pattern of widespread sexual violence against Palestinian prisoners."
CYPRUS: Local police are investigating a violent attack on three Israelis in old Nicosia on Monday afternoon.
One person suffered a wound to his ear.
