I don't think these people realize the damage they are doing to their own country.First of all, they are forcing their own fellow citizens to live in a city like #Gurugram—dirty, heavily polluted, flooded every monsoon, and increasingly unsafe for children.
They are also giving the rest of the world a terrible image of India. I know many people in the expat community, and a lot of them refuse to extend their contracts because they have such a negative experience of living here. For many of them, #Gurugram is their image of India. What I really don't understand is how someone can claim to be proud of their country while, at the same time, contributing to its decline through corruption, shortcuts, and jugaad solutions that are poorly executed and ultimately damage the country's reputation abroad. @gurgaon_live@Suhelseth@GauriSarin@HTGurgaon
It is. We tried with residents and NGO to clean the city for years but we are not being herd. Officials laughing at us. Saying things will never change. All new pavements on hamilton road are already destroyed and poorly made despite hundred of crore spent. All our money goes yo waste mafia and corrupted contractors.
#GurgaonWantstoKnow when crores have been spent on new drainage for multiple years plus cleanups, why are rains still disrupting the city ?
Gurgaon can't manage heavy rains. Gurgaon can't manage pollution. Gurgaon can't manage kacchra and malba.

@ANI The MG road entry of #gurugram this morning till sikanderpur. Not a single cleaning services have cleaned the road sides of this area since more than 2 years despite many complains from residents and NGO. @mcg plays deaf since years about this area.
Dear @vikrantgupta73 , this is the state of one of #gurugram entry : MG road from Guru Dronasharya to Sikanderpur metro. As a resident nearby, i can certify that the road sides havent been cleaned here in 3 years. @MunCorpGurugram teams dont come here for the road sides at all despite multiple complains from residents and NGO.
@ShivAroor@indiannavy And to add to this delightful sight, please discover the cleanliness of the entry of gurgaon on MG road. Not a single cleaning done on those roads since 3 years. Despite crores of money spent. Enjoy !
The other situation in #gurugram is those sectors where @MunCorpGurugram teams never go to clean. Its been 3 years i live here and i never saw the side of the roads being cleaned on MG road between Guru Dronasharya Metro station to sikanderpur metro. Despite 10000 complains from residents and NGO. The state of the road this morning
3 years I live there now. Except this blue shelter to hide the garbage dumping, i have NEVER SEEN the road sides being cleaned . NEVER. it is full of trashes everywhere. The
@MunCorpGurugram
officer in charge is named SHRIKANT, and he told one day to one of our contact on ground, laughing at her, that things will never change and that we were living in a dream. This is the mentality of the people in charge of giving the citizens what they pay taxes for.
