Humans In The Loop, a film from #India about the interplay of artificial intelligence and indigenous knowledge systems, inspired by #AI labelling centres in #Jharkhand, drew a standing ovation at a special screening led by @unescoindia in #NewDelhi this weekend
Spielberg for the sharks hatred post Jaws ๐ค Aranya Sahay for the porcupines love post HUMANS IN THE LOOP. Love it when a film makes me see/love something in a new light, by humanizing (even this human word feels biased while talking about an animal after watching this film)
Caught "Humans In The Loop" in a packed theatre. Expertly juggled multiple topics at once. Some scenes would be shot from the same spot every time giving the audience comfort of surroundings. Also in certain places, felt very inspired by Kiarostami's Where Is The Friend's House.
Aranya Sahayโs Hindi-Kurukh-language film #HumansInTheLoop quietly captures the human insight behind the growing power of AI. Led by Sonal Madhushankar, the film offers an empathetic look at nature, technology, and relationships.

I recently saw Humans of Loop (2024) and it left me speechless. The film is brilliantly made and explores AI critically, which is rarely discussed. It's only in theatres for a short time, so I urge everyone to see it.
Delhi: On screening of the movie Humans in the Loop, filmmaker Kiran Rao says, "...It should be mandatory viewing because this film deals with very, very important issues on AI, technology, and the role it can play in our lives and in representing us. So it's also a very beautifully made film...''
With 'Humans In The Loop,' Aranya Sahay infuses a refreshing human core into a narrative talking about the relationship between humanity and technology. It reminds us that behind every machine, there are emotions that can't be ignored. It's a conversation starter.
