Please do not be put off giving by this inaccurate headline. @Oxfam make clear in their rebuttal that these schemes can be very valuable. Jane Goodall is highly respected but is only one scientist and is giving a personal opinion. https://t.co/HbEdafiQ5O
The BBC chooses to only show Jewish people who condemn JC. They forget for every Rachel Riley there is a Noam Chomsky, for every Tracy Ann Oberman there is a Michael Rosen, for every Maureen Lipman there is a Miriam Margolyes. 1/2
@Freedland Your article; "the roots of the Conservative party's islamophobia lies deep within the populist right", is hotly anticipated. In all other respects balance has been a touchstone of the Guardian's quality.
Well, blow me down. Is that so. I wonder who may have caused that?
"Focus on data comes at expense of rounded curriculum, says Ofsted chief Amanda Spielman"

@MatthewdAncona I am very OK with it because of course he didn't say that (and plenty of my family were murdered by the Nazis, so am I allowed a view?) You conflate what Boris actually said (awful) with your distortion of what Corbyn said. Why?
@ChrisLeslieMP @BarryGardiner You seem not to understand the difference between a general election and a referendum. Peoples vote is a campaign group not a democratic voice. Just because you agree with something does not make it democratic. We need our politicians to understand that this is not simple.
@peterwalker99 There are others who do agree however. This article https://t.co/Hqi6Omffub was deeply revealing. Yet it was the only recent article on the issue you did not reference in your piece on Ian Austin. Why is the Guardian so partisan on this issue?
Sorry, I have gone off on one about the 'Antisemitism' row. Just for the record. My mother survived the war in Prague by denying her Jewish father while most of her aunts and uncles were murdered by the Nazis. So, how Ian Austin dare use his family background makes me very angry.
@patmcfaddenmp @IanAustinMP You have read https://t.co/Hqi6Omffub. Ian Austin's family gives him no right to demand what the article's authors say is wrong. Let us hear strong criticism of the state of Israel from you, so we know that the 7/10 IHRA examples are not, as they seem, cover to prevent it.
@peterkyle @IanAustinMP Can we not stop the stupid politicking and start talking. We all read this https://t.co/AaXiOE57Dc so how can anyone think shouting at their colleagues to demand all the IHRA examples is reasonable when these serious academic Jews say it is wrong?
@Siobhain_MP @IanAustinMP The madness is the failure of anyone to discuss this seriously. Finally, the Guardian has shown that serious academic Jews do not think the IHRA examples are appropriate to be part of a definition. Ian Austin & Margaret Hodge getting angry is politics. https://t.co/AaXiOE57Dc
