Having said that, in family based category, most ppl are direct arrivals (from outside US), unlike employment category where 90%+ are adjustment of status.

Also, to note - *date of filing* has 0 impact on greencards. That means those *outside* the US still have higher priority when it comes to greencard allocation, as that is governed by *final action date*.

@curtismorrison wilfully misleads, because he has made it clear (through his actions since #EAGLEAct) that he is against any relief to Indians in employment based #GCbacklog - not sure why, it would seem like he has a special hate for Indians for some reason.
