Dear @bphillipsonMP @educationgovuk Education can learn from sport. Current and past attainment is not a ceiling. The 2 rugby teams in final this season were 8th and 9th a year ago. Great examples of what happens when everyone aims to be Better Today than Yesterday.

@dylanwiliam @MrZachG Late to discussion but my understanding is neuroplasticity helps understand why learning is possible for all ages and why practise make permanent, not necessarily perfect. I find it useful for studnets to have an understanding. Explains importance of effort and connections.

Go back to a zero base conversation. What are you and the staff aiming to achieve? Teams need a common purpose to improve, thrive and achieve. Once you have that purpose look at what you are doing and stop doing anything that is not directly linked.
