@Katy_primary97 Omg it’s so so demoralising at the start! I’m lucky that he eats really well now, and Id recommend freezing anything you make that he initially rejects as he may well come back to it!
@Katy_primary97 Pretty much all my mum friends do a mix of both, BLW is a lovely ideal (and Instagram can be a bit mental about it), but ultimately you want them to actually consume food, and when you’re out of the house spoon feeding is much less messy!
@Katy_primary97 No he wasn’t, I think some of it was his hand eye coordination wasn’t that good at first, and that’s come along a lot obviously as he’s got older, and he’s also just got more hungry and loves shovelling it in 😆
@Katy_primary97 Yes that’s what we’re doing. He’s mostly eating what we eat mashed up now but still has the odd pouch when out and about. When we first started he had mostly purée, but we always put some finger food in front of him, he’s 8 months now and finally properly eats the finger food!
@Sheena2907 I’ve gone to 0 a couple of times (within 100m of a petrol station), my husband claims there’s another 30 miles left at 0 but I haven’t put that to the test 😂
@Katy_primary97 Everyone I know with a little baby, including myself, has thought they were teething pre 4 months, and it’s not been that, just grumpy baby usually! You can have a feel in his mouth to see if anything’s cutting through but it’s unlikely.
@Katy_primary97 Aww bless him! Yes my boy slept well in it at night too, but day time naps out of my arms took a while to achieve. Currently in a sleep regression so he’s hit and miss on the naps again and night time is chaos, every age there’s a new phase 🙈
@Katy_primary97 Currently contact napping my nearly 5 month old (dangerously near bed time but hey no he’s tired!). He never took to the Moses basket, I would embrace the sling/pram/car naps! He now has most naps in his next to me (with a monitor) but that took lots of practice!
@Katy_primary97 3 weeks is a mad phase for cluster feeding, then it calms a bit (until 6 weeks where it happens again 🙈), you’ll be able to get out soon! Also ask for omeprazole to help with the reflux 😊
@MathsMissC At the start of y10 we split kids into foundation crossover higher, crossover kids study some accessible higher content, then at the end of y10 we make the ‘final’ decision between higher + foundation based on mocks. Still tier change about 10 kids in y11 but in feb at the latest
