On TEA adding remote-only weeks. @UnionmanTX: A tidal wave of teachers opposing dangerous reopening plans has knocked back the reckless push to open our schools. #txed#txlege@AFTunion https://t.co/7pFidafqKe
@teainfo The suggestive nature in your guidelines places superintendents across the state in a no-win situation. Take the lead. #txed https://t.co/jpvB8fvZcG
@EyesWideOpen42@GabbyOrentas@LionsOmega@teainfo "He suggests the fact that few children suffer any symptoms, and are less likely to cough, is an important factor.... children under 10"
These children weren't confined in a space like a classroom for extended period of time with over 10 other children from different households.
The @TEAinfo finally agrees with @Texasaft teachers & @HoustonISD concerns: #covid19 is rampant in our communities. It's no longer threatening to withhold funding for districts who choose to go fully remote to start the school year. #abc13 https://t.co/spn8DxcYnd

@CNNSotu Children have parents to teach them at home allbeit home training is at different levels but learning doesn't stop just because they're not in a public or charter school classroom
@CNNSotu If the data is not saying there is no reason for schools not to reopen then why are all the people who are making these decisions still working remotely
Other than the medical community there is no other profession that is in a confined space with 15 or more persons for 45 minutes or more, 7-10 hours a day, with no way to social distance! Protect teachers we have families too. If you and TEA can work remotely why can't we?
