Reminded today of this astonishing feat of mastery by Edwin Austin Abbey (American 1852 – 1911): "The Coronation of King Edward VII".
Fun fact: The King asked John Singer Sargent to paint the coronation, but Sargent felt unfit for the task and declined!

Bothwell's work is an expression of the spirit world and the belief that we are more than our bodies.
The piece was inspired by out of body experiences caused by severe insomnia experienced during her pregnancy.
