Allowing children to struggle to succeed allows them to make deposits into their I'm Capable account. It allows them to conclude:
I can think for myself.
I can solve my own problems.
I have healthy control over my life.
I can achieve if I'm willing to put forth effort.
Art classes have been virtual this year. Thankfully, I did get time with students in the halls & when I did lunch duty. 2 weeks ago, our district went full virtual & miss the kids so much. While recording pariticipation on Schoology, I saw this proud smile and it made my day.
I am going through student's assignment submissions on Schoology. This fish might look the like The Pout Pout fish but it has me smiling since this student hit the learning targets: I can create the visual texture of an animal and I can make a color wheel- and turn it into an eye
Does your kiddo turn into The Very Hungry Catipillar or a hobbit during virtual learning? My 7 year old does. This is his breakfast but his second breakfast, Elevensies and luncheon are already made and waiting for him in the fridge. My morning cardio is now prepping food.
Specials are virtual + we need 2 make sure students have access 2 certain supplies while working from home. Many of these items u may already have! Please check the list + plan accordingly so that your child is ready to learn! I look foward 2 seeing the amazing things u can do!
