35/365 of drawing everyday until I get GOOD
I am NOT going to render her further, didn'tlike the results (especially with the eyes, I'm gonna have to study them more)
But overral I learned a lot! I think I need to study values more too, and hair (I feel like I am still making a big mass, instead of a flowing hair)
The BG is just a picture with some edition made to it AND using the "water brush effect" that krita has built in
SO, things that I need to pay more attention for the next drawing sessions:
Eye rendering;
Hair rendering;
clothing rendering/composition;
Arm anatomy (especially when foreshortening)
Although I am glad with the results!

One thing that I am noticing is that my rendering skills still need to be developed more, the sketches usually tend to look better than the fully rendered, although I do feel this will be fixed with time

Ah that makes sense! I've never read the manga before!
This yt link I put here is one of SamDoesArts tutorials, mostly focused on the body, BUT it really teaches body proportions! Having a more dynamic pose, or a more "realistic" like body (Not exactly ditching anime, quite the contrary! Using what makes a real body appealing, and applying it to the anime style!) helps selling a more appealing body!
I love Sam's style because his style is closer to semi-realism and that 3d disney character look, and he manages to make amazing characters without using too many tools or effects!
For the face, treating the head and ESPECIALLY the eyes as 3d objects make the drawing feel more alive, which in turn makes it more appealing, obviously you need to have an equilibrium, or it will look SUPER off, but a subtle tilt, the eye changing its shape when the head turns, and other stuff like that helps with making it more appealing (although this depends on the original reference, etc)
But honestly you already making some good stuff! just learning more about anatomy and 3d shapes in the 2d drawing will launch you pretty far!

Didnt have that much time to draw yesterday nor today, BUT I started rendering her (although there's stuff to fix in the hair and arms)
Rendering skin is quite fun! Although quite annoying, I tried to follow SamdoesArts tutorial that he recently published over yt 😊
