It's quite hard to keep grinding when life is already comfortable.
That's basically the issue I've been facing lately. Life's good. I have everything 18 year old me wants.
When there's no tiger chasing you, how do you keep pushing for more?
"But wait, why do you need to keep grinding?"
Valid question. I asked myself that, many times.
I came to the conclusion that what makes me happy is CREATING.
Even though life's comfortable, if I don't create things, I get unhappy.
So I was a bit lost on what to do! I don't need more, but I need to *do* more if I want to be happy.
I did some reading, journaling. I came across 'The Science of Scaling'. I had the kindle sample on my phone.
It really resonated with me. I realize that my happiness came from creating, and from demanding the impossible (from myself).
So I think I'm back on track. Energy's back. Clarity's back. The hard dance dj sets hit harder.
I'm still not sure if I should reveal goals publicly - do they help or not? - but i'll think about it.
Excited to build ❤️
a lot of people fantasize about money n status as a proxy for having freedom to do what they really want.
interesting thing is that if you're specific about what you really want, you'll often find there are more accessible paths to get there that dont require as much as u think
New Smart Bear Live E03 just dropped!

A SEO Agency in the UK just booked another meeting thanks to Ecommerce Leads!
Great results, really happy for them and for the fact Ecommerce Leads is helping them generate pipeline 💚
If you think programmatic SEO is dead you might just be doing it wrong.
I have several pSEO pages and I still get traffic from them. More: they also bring in mentions from LLMs.
But I think most people fail here:
I can afford this strategy because Ecommerce Leads has the most detailed e-commerce database in the world.
Meaning I can quite literally write content no one else can. So the pages actually rank!
pSEO is not a silver bullet for growth, you need to find your unique angle to make the pages actually rank otherwise you'll (obviously) not rank.
Remember:
Cold email is still the best way to sell B2B.
If it's not working for you, it's because you're not standing out.
Inboxes are crowded. Not full.
Figure out how to stand out from all the other emails they get.
@alvaromsamagaio I still want to build a "Francesinha Index" as a side project for people to review and vote on best francesinhas. It's legit difficult to know where to find the best ones!
The proof that Europe has plenty of talent, just bad politics, is in the bootstrapped scene.
95% of the indie makers/bootstrappers I know are European.
I don't really recall any Americans.
I think this comes down to politics and markets.
US = incentivized to grow big, raise money, etc.
EU = much harder to get money, grow, etc.
And maybe also a bit cultural thing of Euros prefering something small(er) and bootstrapped? Don't know, but speaking for myself.
I don't think one is right or wrong btw, just an interesting pattern to note.
