@mattpocockuk When trying something new I go for a Hacker news like news aggregator, with https://t.co/rvfHbdfoBG like user tree and own markdown parser. This allows me to explore both new languages and frameworks. Recently did that with Axum and htmx
@awesomekling I don't think it should be associated with specific values, I think it's better if it was a percentage or even better allow both, for example big programs like games or elector apps could do MBUDGET_LARGE, but stuff like system monitor could set it to a specific value like 10MB
@censysio I must say your advertisement tactic is the best I've ever seen, we've just discovered a misconfiguration in our network, because you've just scanned a service that shouldn't be exposed to the internet. I didn't even knew about you before
I just spent way too much time trying to figure out why Xorg doesn't start on my virtio-gpu implementation for sedna, It turns out Xorg is working, xterm was just crashing, so here's a tiny xclock running on sedna
@SangarWasTaken I've started to implement a simple framebuffer device to learn more about linux's DRM, but your implementation is probably already more complete, I can look at the network driver, but no promises, networking still scares me :P
@SangarWasTaken I didn't even thought about it and was just playing around with implementing some VirtIO devices. But now you've given me an idea I might play around with on xmas break
@SangarWasTaken Yep, seen the emulator already, but I can't find the mod on github, I guess it's still private, I hope you'll open source once it's ready.
@lowleveljs @beneater My friend is currently rewriting the logic engine for his logic gates simulator, on the new logic engine he gets around 20kHz running a risc-v core, you can find the simulator here: https://t.co/DdPOTewMpb
