On Sunday, University of #Texas freshman offensive lineman Nick Brooks was arrested in Austin for driving under the influence. He informed police he had been at a 21-and-over club on West 6th Street, which he claimed allows entry for UT football players.
Per the arrest affidavit, Brooks was clocked driving 47 mph in a 30 mph zone on West 6th Street.
The 18-year-old told officers he was driving “two prospective players” to a nearby strip club.
Brooks admitted to using a marijuana vape pen and smoking a blunt before driving.
Authorities discovered a gold vape pen with a marijuana leaf engraving in his pocket. Brooks said he was “feeling it” after taking three hits from the device.
He exhibited body tremors and failed field sobriety tests, struggling to balance on one leg, the affidavit states.
Brooks was booked into county jail and released the same day on a personal recognizance bond.
A 4-star recruit, Brooks joined the Longhorns in December.

THE FUTURE IS HERE
Researchers at Aalto University and the University of Bayreuth have developed an innovative hydrogel that mimics the strength, elasticity, and self-healing properties of human skin. Made from clay nanosheets and polymer networks, it combines toughness with flexibility, repairing 90% of cuts in 4 hours and fully healing within 24 hours. This breakthrough could revolutionize wound care, artificial skin, robotics, and drug delivery, paving the way for advancements in healthcare and technology. 🧬✨
IF YOU AIN’T FIRST YOU’RE LAST
Coach Prime plans to join Shedeur Sanders for his first official sit-down with the Cleveland Browns this week, where they’ll discuss Shedeur’s future with the team.
“I’ve got some thoughts on why this is happening, but I’m not here to make headlines. I’ll handle the situation and make sure it’s addressed properly—trust me, it’ll be taken care of. Shedeur isn’t playing second fiddle to any quarterback.”

The Sinner' is a cinematic masterpiece! It starts off slow, as great films often do, allowing you to connect deeply with the characters before pulling you into its gripping narrative. The story unfolds in two distinct acts, each captivating in its own way, with a vibe that echoes Christopher Nolan’s brilliant storytelling. Hands-down the best movie I’ve seen in years—a must-watch!
