🚨 AN EMPTY MIGRANT DINGHY. NO MIGRANTS ON BOARD. AND THIS IS WHERE IT GETS REALLY WEIRD… 🤔 👀

The migrants had already been rescued.

The dinghy was empty and adrift in English waters.

A French rescue worker then boarded the empty boat from a rescue vessel so it could be dealt with and taken back towards France.

Then Danny Tommo approached it and allegedly slashed it with a knife.

Now he’s facing a criminal damage charge.

⚠️ And to be absolutely clear, he has pleaded NOT GUILTY.

But here’s what I want answered:

❓ WHO ACTUALLY OWNS THIS DINGHY?

❓ WHO REPORTED THE DAMAGE TO POLICE?

❓ WHERE IS THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE PEOPLE WHO PUT IT INTO THE CHANNEL IN THE FIRST PLACE?

❓ WHO IS BEING CHARGED FOR OPERATING THE PEOPLE-SMUGGLING NETWORK THAT PUTS THESE BOATS INTO THE WATER?

Because apparently damaging an EMPTY RUBBER BOAT is serious enough to trigger a criminal prosecution…

But the people responsible for launching these deathtrap dinghies in the first place seem to disappear into the background.

And here’s the part people are going to argue about:

The rescue worker was on the dinghy when it was slashed, which obviously raises a legitimate safety issue. That shouldn’t be ignored.

But once the migrants had been rescued and the dinghy was empty, why isn’t the bigger story the criminal organisation behind the boat?
