3 days - 3 thrombolysed and 1 thrombectomy - outcomes across the scale - 1 good - 1 not so good - one brilliant - today NIHSS 20 - CT Left M2 thrombus - thrombolysed awaiting thrombectomy - sudden improvement NIHSS 1 - all in COVID PPE - crazy ANVP-BC - great team efforts 🦠🤓🤗

@ASUelht @abitannerSLT @ELHTStrokeTeam Already dealt with3 delay presentations - self isolating thinking had covivid 19 - no family to visit as didn’t want to infect the kids - a sad time - Ed over kill on the aspiration pneumonia case - but not before stroke team assessment - common sense required - we can do this

@AnneAlexandrov Agree here - cryptogenic stroke levels are too high as a result of poor work ups already - thrombectomy a brilliant adjunct but we do need to get to the route cause - understanding the thrombus structure in these cases should help in further improving ‘clot busting’ drug design
