È davvero incredibile! Siamo sul “The Guardian”. La battaglia di Bacoli per le spiagge libere diventa modello internazionale. Uno dei più antichi al mondo, letto da milioni di persone in tutto il pianeta, ha deciso di dedicare alla nostra città ben quattro pagine di approfondimento.

Bacoli assurge così, sul quotidiano britannico, a riferimento italiano come esempio di lotta per riconquistare spiagge a favore della popolazione.

Perché il mare è di tutti. Perché il mare è un diritto che lo Stato deve assicurare alla comunità. L’articolo è stato frutto di un lungo approfondimento che per giorni ha visto gli inviati del “The Guardian” in giro sul nostro territorio. Ecco, non siamo soli. Ma soprattutto non siamo isolati. Quello delle spiagge libere non è più soltanto un tema locale, regionale.

Ma deve diventare una priorità della politica nazionale. La difesa dei beni comuni.

$2.3 billion from crypto ventures their father regulates. More than a million people bought in and lost $2.3 billion. The money didn’t grow. It simply moved from the subjects pockets to the crown’s coffers.

🚨URGENT: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger, Physicians for Human Rights Israel and his lawyer warned Saturday, after a prison visit revealed the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital bearing fresh, severe injuries to his head, eyes, ears, and neck, so disfigured his own attorney initially struggled to recognize him.

🔹Attorney Nasser Odeh, who saw Abu Safiya Thursday at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility in Nitzan Prison, said he arrived shackled hand and foot, escorted by masked guards, struggling to breathe and speak, unable to sit upright, and repeatedly on the verge of losing consciousness.

🔹Abu Safiya told him that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard June 10, four or five guards entered his solitary cell at Ganot Prison and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his June 24 transfer to Rakefet he has been beaten daily, losing consciousness several times without receiving medical treatment.

🔹“This is the last time you will see me,” he told his lawyer. “They brought me here to kill me. I don’t see myself surviving. This is the end.”

🔹PHRI notes the escalation in torture began directly after Abu Safiya challenged his detention in court. He has been held without charge since December 27, 2024, under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law.

La Lega è quella del segretario fidanzato con la figlia di un condannato per bancarotta finito in carcere a Sollicciano. Il fratello di lei ha patteggiato due anni e nove mesi per corruzione sugli appalti Anas. Anas, le strade. Il ministro delle infrastrutture è il cognato. La sorella ha patteggiato un anno per essersi finta avvocata con una badante, fabbricandole una sentenza falsa del tribunale di Firenze.

La Lega è quella del ministro dell’interno che, ubriaco di potere, bloccò in mare navi cariche di naufraghi, anche donne e bambini, e non una volta sola. Per la Diciotti il Senato gli evitò perfino il processo; poi le Sezioni Unite hanno stabilito che quei naufraghi trattenuti a bordo hanno diritto al risarcimento. Paga lo Stato. Cioè noi. Per la Open Arms i giudici lo hanno assolto. Ma dall’aver usato persone salvate dal mare come materiale da campagna elettorale non lo assolve nessuna sentenza.

La Lega è quella che ha firmato un accordo col partito di Putin. E quella del Metropol: l’uomo di fiducia del segretario, già suo portavoce, in un albergo di Mosca a trattare con emissari russi una partita di petrolio destinata, scrisse il giudice archiviando, “all’obiettivo finale di finanziare illecitamente il partito Lega”. Nessun reato, l’affare non si chiuse e i russi restarono senza nome. Resta un partito italiano che andava a cercare i soldi della campagna elettorale a Mosca.

La Lega ovviamente è quella dei 49 milioni pubblici spariti. Li restituisce a 600mila euro l’anno: finirà di pagarli verso il 2090, con rate più basse del mutuo che pago io alla banca.

La Lega è quella della Pedemontana Veneta: 2,3 miliardi pubblici per una superstrada col traffico sotto le previsioni e canoni che peseranno sui veneti fino al 2059.

La Lega è quella delle Olimpiadi “a costo zero” costate al contribuente circa 5 miliardi. Compresa la pista da bob: il Coni voleva gareggiare su un impianto estero già esistente, Salvini impose Cortina “senza spese aggiuntive”. Spese aggiuntive: 124 milioni.

La Lega è quella dei suoi economisti, quelli che da dieci anni sanno tutto di tutto: l’euro stava per crollare, lo spread non contava, i minibot ci avrebbero salvati, fuori dall’Europa si stava meglio. Nessuna previsione avverata, nessuna idea sopravvissuta al contatto con la realtà. Sono ancora lì, in Parlamento, a spiegarci l’economia.

La Lega è quella delle sue vestali dell’intolleranza, le quattro madonnine della crociata permanente contro l’Islam: ordinanze per impedire ai musulmani perfino di pregare in un piazzale, bocciate dai giudici, centinaia di migliaia di euro di contenziosi pagati dai cittadini, e una promozione a eurodeputata proprio per quello.

Nella Lega l’intolleranza non è un incidente di percorso. È un curriculum.

La Lega è quella di Borghezio, condannato per diffamazione razzista contro una ministra nera, cresciuto nell’estrema destra extraparlamentare, fermato nel ‘76 con un messaggio che inneggiava alla morte del giudice Occorsio. Trent’anni di Carroccio, e ora corre da Vannacci.

La Lega è quella di Calderoli, condannato due volte per aver dato dell’orango alla stessa ministra, salvato dalla prescrizione. Oggi è ministro.

La Lega è quella in cui Salvini si è scelto come vicesegretario il generale del “mondo al contrario” per cavalcarne il razzismo, ed è stato cavalcato: il generale si è fatto il partito suo e si porta via deputati, militanti e reduci, compreso quello della “remigrazione” a Montecitorio.

La Lega è quella di chi chiedeva i pieni poteri dal Papeete.

La Lega è quella di chi col tricolore voleva pulirsi il culo.

La Lega è quella che al 25 aprile e al 2 giugno non si presenta perché non ha nulla da festeggiare.

Non è una serie di incidenti. È un metodo.

E voi vi stupite che con 13 miliardi e mezzo da gestire per il Ponte l’inchiesta per corruzione arrivi prima ancora che l’opera sia cominciata? Con indagato l’ex commissario della Lega in Calabria, già nel consiglio di amministrazione della società del Ponte, quello che “lavora a stretto contatto con Salvini”, accusato di aver provato a comprare il parere di un giudice della Corte dei Conti?

This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention.

The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean.

And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them.

Record-breaking temperatures.

A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse.

The response?

Yank out the instruments and walk away.

That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency.

For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives.

The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident.

That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.

In the first ladies’ car, it was just cold silence and one‑word answers all the way up Pennsylvania Avenue.
