[Jacob Matson @matsonj]

wow thats a big duck

[MotherDuck @motherduck]

Ducktober, Drop 03: Giga 🦆

One very big duck. Tens of terabytes. No cluster.

Giga is MotherDuck’s largest instance: roughly the CPU and RAM of a Snowflake 3XL, in a single machine. On the 10 TB TPC-DS benchmark it ran all 99 queries at a 5.6-second geomean.

No nodes to size. No cluster to tune. When the data gets big, scale up.

Catch up on Ducktober and read our CEO's recent blog on Giga→ https://t.co/8p104d0xtj

Five more to go. The next one comes through tomorrow at 9am PT.

The KC front office before they signed Tucker when a staffer asked if they should be worried about the messaging.

[Ari Meirov @MySportsUpdate]

#Chiefs HC Andy Reid faced five straight minutes of questions about Justin Tucker today, including what message his signing sends to female fans of the team.

"He's done his suspension. Took care of his business there. I'll leave it at that."
