@sweatystartup I know a guy who does this in shopping centres in and around Hull in the UK. He ran away with the money, paid none of the Elves and Santas for working including Christmas Day.

Luckily we charged him up front for all working at height equipment.

Valve's Steam Deck brought PC gaming back into my life after fatherhood https://t.co/FiJV0AvNxH

[Matthew Dean @matt1xy]

@lawrenceyang The Switch brought me back to gaming after having 2 kids, Xbox and gaming pc sit gathering dust. The Steam Deck really has taken portable handheld gaming to the next level, for busy mums & dads especially.

@TJBV12 @Wario64 I have a switch and love the handheld form factor. Since having my Steamdeck I haven’t touched my gaming laptop. So convenient playing handheld.

@NihongoGamer Maybe you still have to press the capture button, can’t say “Rotom take the photo” your mouth will be open.

[Matthew Dean @matt1xy]

@NihongoGamer Glad your enjoying it! I’ve played loads since Friday, multiplayer with my 2 sons and we’ve had a great experience.

Reading a-lot of negative comments online about performance but we’ve been quite lucky and had minimal issues.

[Matthew Dean @matt1xy]

@NihongoGamer Played it for 10 hours over yesterday and today with my 2 boys. 3 player online open world multiplayer and I can’t say I’ve had many issues. Some dancing shadows that’s it so far.

[Matthew Dean @matt1xy]

@SteamDeckGaming @yungxbai Thanks to you it’s now on mine 😆

[Matthew Dean @matt1xy]

@TDeckverse @RawFury @OnDeck Never heard of it but will check it out

@TDeckverse @RunJumpStomp @lawrenceyang All instances can connect and talk with each other.

I’ve connected with and had more conversations on Mastodon in a week to Twitter I’ve had for years.

Everyone seems super friendly and tbh all I’ve mainly talked about is the steamdeck.

[Matthew Dean @matt1xy]

@lawrenceyang The steamdeck community is great on mastodon. Had some great conversations over there.
