Derek Adams has been appointed as Argyle's new Director of Football, with responsibility for the structure of the men’s first team.
Welcome back to Home Park, Derek! 💚
If anybody at the club thought this article would reassure anyone then that is very very worrying.
A lot of words that said absolutely nothing, and all from a man who doesn't start as CEO for another 2 months.
Really strange times.

Paul Berne has admitted Argyle are going through 'a challenging period' as he prepares to officially start his role as the club's new CEO in January but has called for stability after so many recent changes on and off the pitch.

It's so depressing to see how far we've fallen
Blame lies with a lot of people for decisions over the last two years
However, performances have been diabolical & that means the manager needs to go
Hope the board have learned not to cling onto poor managers for too long.

Recruitment was poor and that's on Hallett, Parkinson, Fox and Randle (if he was ever involved).
But we still ended up with a squad that should be competitive for League 1.

The government's response to the situation in Gaza continues to fall short of what is needed.
It needs to change now - we are clearly at the point of it very nearly being too late.
Israel is continuing to use starvation as a method of warfare, a war crime, and as a tool to commit genocide against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip.
The harrowing suffering of starving Palestinians in Gaza, including our own colleagues, on an hourly basis, is exacerbated by Israel’s cruel and devastating militarised non-neutral ‘aid distribution’ system. Over 800 people have been killed trying to access aid. This must stop now.
Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza must end now. Israel must immediately lift all restrictions on the entry of aid, reinstate the UN system of aid distribution and allow unfettered, safe, and dignified access to humanitarian aid throughout Gaza immediately. States must stop their inertia and urgently act to ensure Israel fully complies with international law.
The principle of the Welfare Bill - getting people into work - has always been good, but the detail was always bad.
The handling of it has been hopelessly amateurish and it's no surprise we've got to a point where it's been all but abandoned.
