This makes a mockery of the whole tournament.
If the USMNT win, Belgium will have every right to feel cheated, meanwhile the USA’s victory - by their best ever generation of players - will forever be tainted by accusations of favouritism and corruption.
It’s bad for everyone.
im probably a broken record with this atp but that 2022 team and post season run was the most fun I’ve ever had being a Boston sports fan not even being hyperbolic
@Brett_Pats similar reason to Herbert , fans aren’t kind to someone who’s level of play declines in the playoffs. it was his first trip and against all elite defenses, and it’s unfair imo, but I think that’s really what did it
idk what Celtics fans were expecting atp, it’s a terrible trade but no one wanted him and we had to trade him - terrible combo this just makes the failed giannis deal hurt even more
@NickCRadio 1.) fans have a strong bias on him
2.) top 20, net negative on offense when his shot isn’t falling, turnover machine
3.) add 2+2 up on that one we don’t need reporting
4.) refer to 2.), he can get 30 inefficiently all he wants doesn’t change what teams are concerned about
🥳
@NickCRadio btw I think 3 firsts by itself probably gets a deal done, Brad if we listen to reporting is insisting on 4 firsts plus players - teams are rightfully laughing at that and saying no thanks we’re good
@NickCRadio yet the league seems to agree with me - why? he’s a top 20 guy who had a career year only due to newfound volume because of Tatum not playing , and he’s paid a supermax deal and is insisting on another one, plus is a head case. if you strip bias aside it makes some sense
@Alexzachary305 he isn’t even better than kawhi first of all, and secondly idk what kawhi makes but it isn’t supermax money and the contract and brown wanting an extension asap is the reason he isn’t going for shit
@Gibberish5555 top 20 feels appropriate to me and this is spot on, he insists he’s a supermax guy so he won’t accept a contract that’s actually his value
Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III has agreed to sign a three-year, $44 million contract extension to return to the Portland Trail Blazers through 2028-29, agent Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management tells ESPN.
