Last week, University of Florida Trustee Chair, Mori Hosseini, admitted that @UF is passing over Florida students to chase out-of-state high school graduates with higher SAT scores in order to prop up the school's rankings (see post below).

We have now learned that UF’s Admissions Office has posted a job opening for an admissions officer who will be based in New York City and whose SOLE responsibility will be to drive recruitment of incoming freshmen from NYC area schools.

The job will pay $70k/year, with key responsibilities that require the candidate to “promote UF and its admissions pathways”, as well as to “meet with prospective students and families to guide them through the admissions process”.

Florida’s flagship university isn’t recruiting out-of-state students from states with similar culture and values. Instead, it’s going to the heart of the beast to recruit from NY schools, where marxist indoctrination runs rampant in the city that elected Zohran Mamdani.

Meanwhile, hard working Florida high school seniors receive rejection letters to the state’s flagship university that their parents’ tax dollars fund.
