In 2009, I was the only player on my college team who had Tommy John surgery.
Today, it’s not uncommon to see multiple players on a high school roster needing surgery.
The game has changed fast.
I’ll share what I’ve learned to help kids stay healthy and perform better.
@AlexCrislip Exactly. If people don’t want to work for a small biz because it doesn’t take care of them they should leave and find an employee who does. That’s how the free market works.
@AlexCrislip But this argument always get flipped into a moral argument. Of course I want to see people succeed. But punishing small businesses by picking an arbitrary number seems more harmful than good.
@AlexCrislip Right but if a $15 minimum wage is enforced Walmart has no problem either a. Paying it or b. Spending the money to invest in AI to do away with ok skill jobs. The only ones who suffer are small businesses. That means we’re left with only large companies running everything.
@AlexCrislip Large corps are the ones in favor of having a mandatory minimum wage tho. They are the only ones with the ability to pay it. Small businesses are the ones who suffer most from it.
