Most of the updates in the code does not require the Hard Fork to function and some changes might crash 1.7.0 nodes, so please wait until every node in the network has been updated or until the Hard Fork for messing with the mainnet.

Remember that Hard Forks always may have unknown issues, as we don't have as huge testnet as the mainnet. But from the experiences with the previous Hard Forks I'm thinking this Hard Fork will move much smoother than ever before.

I surmise the reason HTN is running, and will continue to run, is the new algorithm released in July uses FP64 functions which makes it a low power algo for gpu, cpu and also mobile phone CPUs.

Hoosat community just funded and built an Android mining app. Our expectation is that it could be popular in India, Pakistan and other SEA countries. Definitely worth a look man!
