@Santi_609 Haha come onnnnn. Long story short I don’t think what happened tonight warrants a national backlash when stuff like this happens in every sport every single season.
@Santi_609 Doug had a tough year. The problem is the personnel and injuries. Easiest way to fix that is a higher draft pick. As a fan I demand effort from Week 1. But you can’t tell me that you wouldn’t want a higher pick, a chance to get a franchise changing player.
@Santi_609 They’re a 4 win team lol. I’m sure the vets aren’t happy about losing all year but they realize the situation. Surprise Hurts got that much run in the first place. We weren’t playing for you guys to go to the playoffs.
@Santi_609 Honestly both, it was in the gameplan all week to play Sudfeld. Guys been in the organization for 4 years and this was his last game. We weren’t playing for the Giants to advance. We’re playing with the C squad in Week 17 with no playoff chance
@Santi_609 I don’t understand this national blowback at all. This isn’t the first time in the history of sports a team has sat their potential future franchise player in a meaningless game after playing underwhelming.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of James Bennett '14.
James loved St. Augustine Prep and all that came with being a proud Hermit. He was an integral member of the 2014 SJ Championship Wrestling Team, a model Hermit Brother, and a great friend to all who encountered him.
